Hi. I'm Rev. Sean Peters. I am an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. I have served churches in Florida and Alabama since 2003. I am married to my best friend Sandra, and we have two grown children who both live in Nashville, Tennessee. I am passionate about communicating the life-giving message of God's love for all people and for creating new ways to reach new people with the Good News of Jesus. I am honored to serve as the Pastor of Pekin First UMC and look forward to our future together.

Hi, I’m Emmy! I’ve been blessed to be a part of this church since I was a child. As the Director of Children and Family Ministries, I now get to create fun ways for children to grow their relationships with God. My name is Megan Rahn and I grew up in First United Methodist Church. I graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a Bachelors in teaching English to speakers of other languages last year. I am currently in the second graduate year at Dominican University for my Master’s of Social Work. I have a huge heart for teaching the next generation to be lights in a world that is bleeding for hope and change.

Hi, I’m Jamie.  I enjoy teaching the little people of the church!  We play games, do crafts, and learn about Jesus.  I am always excited to see new faces in the nursery.  If you have a child under the age of 5 you can bring them to me while you worship!

I’m so blessed to get to serve as the Director of Online Ministries. I have been a part of the Media Team for many years, and in 2021 God called me to take a step forward in my faith and serve with this wonderful staff. Taking on this new position and helping connect people with the life giving power of Jesus has been great in my personal faith journey.
