Pekin First UMC, together with Grace UMC, invites you to take part in a Poverty Simulation—a meaningful, interactive experience that offers a glimpse into the daily realities faced by families living on the edge of poverty.
During this time, you’ll make difficult choices, respond to unexpected situations, and experience the pressures that come with limited resources. This is more than an activity—it’s an opportunity to grow in awareness, deepen compassion, and reflect on how we are called to love our neighbors.
As followers of Jesus, we are called not only to serve, but to understand. This experience helps us take a step in that direction.
